In the same vein as ‘101 uses for a dead cat’, this cartoon book
offers ‘101 exceptional excuses for terrible timekeeping.’
From the incredibly
imaginative (although highly unlikely) excuse of the children turning into
zombies over breakfast, to the slightly more plausible got off at the wrong
stop, the excuses had me giggling with every turn of the page.
One of the best things about the book is that it’s very easy to
pick up for a quick flick when you’ve got a few minutes to fill (and if you
happen to have more time on your hands the pictures are all in black and white
so you could always grab some crayons and colour them in).
